Hossegor is a famous seaside resort which is also well-known for its surfing beach at La Gravière, as well as its golf course, which is one of the loveliest in Europe. It really has got what it takes to win you over!
Hossegor is Europe's top surfing location due to its amazing waves. The beaches of Hossegor are split into patrolled bathing areas and sports areas: La Centrale and La Nord, or, for a more peaceful option, La Blanche, which is located on the shores of the lake. If you fancy having a go at surfing, there are a variety of schools from which you can hire equipment and which offer different packages: group lessons and private lessons, rentals.
5.75 km in length, the fantastic walk around the lake, which is pedestrianised, also features information boards. Here, you can find out all about the architectural gems of the resort and explanations about the saltwater lake, birds, fish, oyster farming and more. You can also hire paddleboards and little boats for cruising around the lake.
