« Excellent campsite and facilities and very helpful and friendly staff. Superb location too with easy access to nice beach and interesting towns and amenities in the area. Our mattress was too soft, which caused me some back trouble but was swapped out for a firmer mattress immediately upon request. I'd highly recommended Camping Sylvamar. »

« Overall we had an average holiday. We stayed in a villa 3km from sylvamar site. The accommodation had good bedrooms but the living area and kitchen weren't great. No AC, uncomfortable sofa, cheap dining furniture, very little in terms of quality kitchen utensils for cutting/cooking/bbq. Lizards were everywhere, running inside the walls at night, all over the deck. An unannounced farmer in a tractor one morning cut the surrounding forest floor down and covered the house in dust and left a layer of scum on the Jacuzzi. The construction site access gates had to be unlocked every day to get in/out. One day the gate scratched the side of our jeep and we were quoted €400 to repair the damage in Dublin on our return. My wife had 30 mosquito bites after 1st night and had an elergic reaction to them that lasted the 2 weeks. All the entertainment at the 9:30 slot in the campsite was aimed at french/Spanish speaking guests, all the Irish and English people would leave after 15minutes as nobody understood what was happening. All the french people we encountered on our way in or out of the property would be giving out that this area is restricted to car traffic. There are lots of things that could be improved. »

« Fantastic campsite with the best pool complex i have seen. Accomodation was fab as it was new but had no air con which i expected as it was new but i didnt check. I have been to campsites with better entertainment but was good all the same. »

« Fantastic stay with our 9 & 12 year old kids. The pools and slides kept them occupied all day. We ate mostly at the restaurant as the food was great plus the bar / restaurant staff were amazing to us and our children. »

« Very nice campsite and location, however feels overcrowded, particularly the pools, also pitches can have big colonies of ants which quickly infest caravans to the point that it’s impossible to sleep. The staff tries to help, however there should be a preventative measure in place before it becomes a problem and ruins the experience. The entertainment seemed ok but not much fun for kids that don’t know French. Nevertheless, the slides and the nearby beach made the stay very enjoyable. »

« We had a lovely holiday at Sylvamar. The pitch size was quite large and fitted our campervan ( 9 metres length ) and attached driveaway awning with plenty of room to spare. »
